Resurrecting this blog...

I am going to try....again....to blog on a regular basis. Right now I am watching tv and everyone else is asleep. I am trying to type on Daniel's little netbook but the keys are so small that I make alot of typing mistakes. Hopefully soon I will be able to do this on an iPad!

Daniel is on a roll with the funny comments and antics. Over the weekend, he said he wanted me to buy him Tru Moo...a new brand of chocolate milk. He said "it has no corn syrup and a great taste kids love!" LOL.....he got that from the commercials.

Today we wer at Rebekah's lacrosse practice and Daniel had to go to the bathroom. I took him up to the bathroom at the field. When we walked into the ladies room, we were both a little surprised to see metal toilets in the stalls. Daniel said "are these like the toilets they have in jail?" That boy is just too funny.

Rebekah wanted one specific pair of boots for Christmas and Santa actually got them for her! She has worn them quite a bit since Christmas. This is how they now look...

They are from Justice and they certainly didn't stand up to much wear. We will NOT be buying another pair!!!

So I skipped Jan 7. Nothing struck my fancy and then the day was over without a photograph. Oh well.

Rebekah woke up sick on Friday. A trip to the pediatrician confirmed that she had strep too! So now we are all on antibiotics. Maybe we will all get better!

Here is today's photo. It's Daniel sitting on his motorcycle in our living room. He was just sitting there watching TV. He is so super adorable!

Today's photo is of a balloon aardvark. Jesterman at Rocky Run in Marley Station Mall made it for Rebekah at dinner tonight.

Daniel got a squiggle hat that was too large to fit in a photo while sitting at the table.

Here is today's photo - my cute little niece!

She's just over 3 weeks old now and this is the first day that I've seen her really awake. I have been sick since she was born so I have stayed away from her. It seems like the few times I've held her she's been sound asleep.

Rebekah is holding her in this photo. She was making faces and moving her mouth like she was trying to talk to us.

Daniel loves the baby but he only holds her for a minute or so each time. He's more interested in the older cousins right now.

Today's funny sayings from Daniel - "I do what I do" while playing a Wii game. We were trying to get him to drive one direction and he didn't want to. He also says "got it" alot. Today my mom reprimanded him for throwing sand and all she had to do was yell his name and he said "Got it!"

Daniel alseep in my bed this morning...

Unfortunately for me, this is a common occurrance right now in our house. Sigh.... I need to get that boy to sleep!!! He refuses to get into his own bed awake. Last night, he still wasn't feeling well and fought sleep until after 11:30pm. My ear was hurting so I didn't have the energy to fight him. I ended up letting him go to bed with me when he wouldn't fall asleep on the sofa. Then I didn't move him to his own bed.

Tonight, he fell asleep on the sofa shortly after 10pm so I get my side of the bed to myself tonight!

This photo was taken on the way to Righttime Medical Care near Arundel Mills Mall. There were 9 contrails from airplanes in the sky and they were going in all directions. I tried to get a photo of them but only a couple are visible.

I was taking Daniel to be checked for Strep Throat. He had been sick since New Years Eve but I thought he was getting better. When I got to my mom's that afternoon, his fever was back. I called the pediatrician but they couldn't fit him in.

On the way to Arundel Mills, I realized my ear was hurting and my throat was hurting again. I just had ear infections on Dec 13 so I asked to be checked also. Lo and behold, we both had strep!!! I am now wondering if that's what Rebekah had on Christmas Day. She is fine now, without a visit to a doctor.

Oh - funny thing Daniel said today - the doctor also said he had a little "brown-kitis". LOL! He has strep froat and brown-kitis.
